It was SO much fun to cut this jagged, asymmetrical bob. She can totally rock this new look! And to think she was a kindergarden teacher...No more conservative Mrs. Lemmon :)

Sometimes it's just fun to have a change! Here we cut about 6 inches off and really textured it up with the razor. Love it :)

We did a really pretty Brunette with Red-Brown chunky pieces that shimmer through. It looks so cool in person! The cut is long-layered with some face framing fringe.

For this hairstyle, I added some low-lights (dark streaks), touched up the blonde, put a really dark shadowbox, and trimmed like 4 inches... so cute!

It's fun to use the skills I learned in school. Fingerwaves are something I wondered why I was learning, but they totally came in handy for Nicki's Halloween hair. I love it!

It has taken me so long to get around to posting this, Tiffany could have been Rapunzel for Halloween! haha... It was cute short though :)

Don't try this at Home...

A lot of box color from the grocery store turns out great, but unfortunately when it doesn't, it's usually a disaster. Don't worry, we've all done it. In high school my blonde sister turned her hair fire engine red for school using a "Semi-Permanent, fades in 6 weeks" box color...and sure it faded, to PINK! These hair emergencies are my favorite! I think the best ideas come from mistakes the first time around. SO, I was really excited to get to play with some blonde/orange/yellow/brown hair today!

Here's BEFORE...nice and blotchy, some white roots, some yellow, some natural, some orange midshaft...

Only a few hours, a hundred (or more) foils, and a ton of bleach later. Then some cool violet toner (pictured above--looks a little freaky, but toner is amazing. It's like hi-powered purple shampoo to neutralize any yellow tones) and we have....

AFTER! A beautiful soft platinum blonde with a few low-lights (dark blonde streaks) and a shadowbox underneath for a natural look and more dimension. This is what she was going for, and I was SO excited to do it!

You can add a LOT of personality to a long hairstyle by adding some layers & cute bangs!

I'm back at it. Here's some hair I just did... Summer is time for blondes!

More Baby

I'm about to start working again, but for now I'm just hanging out with my little stud muffin, Taft. He's getting big though, check out the dimple in his elbow... he's packing on those pounds.

Baby Taft Hill

I had my baby on March 8th! He weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. and was about 20 inches long. He's really healthy and doing great. It's been so much fun to have him here!

I'll start taking regular appointments again on MAY 1st.

I'm due in a few weeks

As many of you know I'm having a baby boy sometime within the next 2 weeks. My midwife thinks I'll have him about a week early... so that leaves this as my last week for working. I'm feeling really good though, and I'll be taking appointments through Thursday February 25th.

I'll be sure to post baby pictures and all the info when I do have him :)

I'm planning to take about 6 weeks off of work, so depending on when he decides to make his entrance, I'll be taking appointments again mid-April, and for sure by May 1st. Feel free to call, and I'll let you know if I'm working yet or not.
